List of Captains and Coaches of All 5 WPL Teams

The first game of the Women’s Premier League – WPL 2023 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 4, between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians.

Five teams will compete in the league stage of the inaugural WPL season in a double round-robin format, with the top three teams advancing to the Eliminator and Final.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, along with brand-newcomers Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz, are among the five teams competing in the inaugural WPL.

The team that finishes first on the table advances directly to the final, while the teams who finish second and third compete for a spot in the summit matchup in the Eliminator.

22 WPL 2023 games will be played in total at the DY Patil Stadium and the Brabourne CCI in Mumbai. The Eliminator and Final are set for March 24 and 26, respectively, while the league phase runs from March 4 through March 21.

During the WPL Auction 2023 on February 23, all five teams completed their rosters. Three of the five franchises have also made their season captains public.
